Explore music together at your own pace. Chords of Courage supports neurodivergent learners and the parents, siblings and caregivers who learn alongside them.
Try a gentle rhythm activity
Choose a comfortable space and a familiar song. Tap a slow beat on your knees, then invite the learner to join or choose a different sound. Take turns leading. Keep the activity short and pause whenever the learner wants a break. Participation can include listening, movement, humming or tapping.
Singing and musical choice
Offer two familiar songs and let the learner choose using words, gestures or their preferred communication method. Sing a short phrase and leave space for a response. Avoid pressure to perform; recognise each person’s way of joining in.
Register for family lessons
Parents, siblings and caregivers can request in-person or online music lessons to support musical engagement at home. Tell us your preferred mode and location in the registration form. Our team will discuss availability and suitable next steps.
